Leg Veins

Telangiectasias are small, broken blood vessels found near the skin surface. Sometimes these vessels are pink, red, or blue, typically 1-3mm wide and occur primarily on the face, nose, and chin, although they can also be seen on the legs.  Veins and red marks on the face may appear due to genetics, sun and wind exposure, pregnancy,  trauma to the skin or previous surgical incisions, excessive alcohol use, acne, or may be secondary to a medical condition such as rosacea.

At Dermatology on Bloor we offer a number of solutions to address the concerning red spots, veins, and vessels of the face or legs. To determine which treatment, or combination of treatments is right for you, schedule a complimentary consultation with one of our expert cosmetic dermatologists.
